Book Launch for Big Deal, Little Deal

Two locals are launching their children’s book Big Deal, Little Deal! We are excited to host them!

Written by Nathan Groves and Shawna Conway, Big Deal, Little Deal introduces children to the character, Rupert McWorry McNeal. Rupert McWorry McNeal is a lovable protagonist struggling to manage some big emotions. Through beautifully illustrated pages and storytelling, the book gently guides readers on a path to emotional awareness. Nathan Groves and Shawna Conway are co-authors who were mutually inspired by one another’s shared desire to be effective parents while raising children amidst the challenges of today’s world. The two met while Shawna was a principal and decided to collaborate on the idea of writing a book that they hope becomes a conversation starter on how to deal with big emotions and unpleasant situations.
